ABOUT

Cymone Jones

Born and raised in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, I was always active and played sports. I graduated from DePauw University in 2012 where I played softball all 4 years and received my Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology - Sports Medicine. I went on to receive my Master of Science in Kinesiology - Youth Sport Development from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro.

After working at a sports facility in South Carolina as an operations coordinator for four years and
having my second daughter in late 2019 I decided to shift gears to focus on my family and starting my own business in fitness.

In August 2020 I became an ACE-certified health coach to educate in behavior-change coaching and help clients map out their health goals and plans. In December 2020 I became a certified STRONG Nation® Instructor to teach online fitness classes to those who were not comfortable going back to gyms during the pandemic.
From there I furthered my education to become an AFAA certified group fitness instructor in July 2021.

After a year of teaching online group fitness classes, I realized I wanted to offer more. I wanted to find a way to specifically work with women who did not want to go to the gym or exercise in front of strangers. I wanted to work with women who longed for a personal environment where they could work on their physical fitness comfortably but in the presence of someone knowledgeable when it came to exercise and could meet them where they were in their journey. I was certified in December 2021 as a NASM Personal Trainer and began training clients 1-on-1 out of my home. Don't worry, I still offer on-demand workout videos for those who may not want the 1-on-1 attention and want to workout whenever they like!

Some may say my passion is fitness, but my passion is a healthy lifestyle. When truly embracing a healthy lifestyle, physical fitness is not the only aspect. Nutrition is a huge part of a healthy lifestyle as well. So in January 2023, I became a Certified Nutrition Coach to back up my knowledge and take my passion to the next level to help women with empowerment, confidence, and vitality. I now offer an 8-week online coaching program to help women of all ages and walks of life kickstart or enhance their healthy lifestyles.

In March 2024, I will be launching my blog page Vibrant Vitality. This will provide tons of information to help support and empower women to bring vitality to their lives, while sharing my experiences along the way, showcasing quick easy nutritious meals for the family, short 10-minute workouts, mindfulness practices, life as a mom of two girls (4 and 5), sharing favorite products and so much more!

From being a high school and collegiate athlete to a young adult in the working world now a mother and business owner, I realize how not making your health a priority affects many aspects of your life. Health isn't only physical fitness; it also includes your sleep schedule, what you eat, and your mindfulness practices and I am here to help you incorporate them all. I started this journey not only for myself, but for those who want to make changes to a happier, well-balanced lifestyle their way but may need assistance. As women (of all ages) we tend to push ourselves to the bottom of the priority list and our health and well-being suffer from it. I want to be there to help you discover the benefits of healthy habits in your current stage of life that can stick with you throughout the life voyage.I don't believe in a "one size fits all" method or "quick fixes". I will work with you to find a plan that is for YOUR body and goals. Small steps lead to big changes and those don't happen overnight!

"Vitality is measured by the level to which an individual is approaching life with excitement and energy; feeling vigorous and enthused; living life as an adventure; feeling alive and activated; and maintaining a zest for life." - Unknown
